Denver Suburbs
The Greater Denver Metro Area includes seven counties with neighborhoods to suit any taste. Each community is distinctive with various construction age, architecture, lot sizes, price points, schools and amenities to offer. Some are picturesque with spectacular mountain views. Others have luxury mansions and custom estates while others have condominiums and patio homes for empty nesters.
Arvada
The city of Arvada is located just northwest of Denver and situated in Jefferson and Adams counties.
Aurora
Although its residential quality and proximity to Denver make Aurora seem like simply a suburb of the larger metropolis, this bustling city has a flavor all its own.
Castle Rock
Castle Rock is named for its iconic castle-shaped butte, perched above downtown.
Centennial
One of Colorado's newest cities, Centennial was incorporated in February 2001. It boasts over 111,000 residents, making it Colorado's 10th largest city.
Cherry Hills Village
Cherry Hills Village derived its name from the large cherry orchards near the original town site. It’s a suburb south of Denver, located in Arapahoe County.
Englewood
Englewood sits 20 minutes south of downtown Denver adjacent to Cherry Creek State Park, where visitors enjoy swimming, sailing, boating and water skiing.
Golden
Golden has a reputation as one of the West’s friendliest cities where residents enjoy world-class outdoor recreation, cultural attractions, local charm, and the Coors Brewery, the largest single-site brewery in the world.
Greenwood Village
Located just south of Denver, Greenwood Village incorporated in 1950, but retained its open feel with more than 300 acres of parks and 100 acres of undeveloped open space.
Highlands Ranch
Sitting at 5,920 feet, Highlands Ranch is a large master planned community just 12 miles south of Denver. Once an operating ranch, Highlands Ranch is now home to 107,017 residents as of 2020, restaurants, a shopping mall, and over 70 miles of hiking trails.
Lakewood
The fifth-largest city in the Denver metro area, this suburb to the west of the city has one of the best views of the Rocky Mountain foothills and is easily reached by light rail service from Union Station.
Littleton
Just a few miles south of downtown Denver, Historic Downtown Littleton has a charm all its own, from turn-of-the-century buildings and antique shops to cozy, relaxed eateries, restaurants and bars. Browse Main Street's independently owned shops and galleries featuring local artists.
Parker
Parker is famous for its unique Western-Victorian downtown and its hometown vibe that it has strived to preserve amid growing prosperity.
